EUROPEAN UNION CO-FINANCED PROJECT
Arriving on an archaeological site without finding any indications, loosing ourselves on the path without understanding what we are really admiring nor imagining how splendid those ruins appearing before our eyes once were…
How many times have we found ourselves in this situation? How many sites have we visited and admired like a vague showcase, feeling detached from their history, without being absorbed by the teeming atmosphere of an ancient city or the solemnity liturgical of a royal necropolis?
ItaliaNavigaTour allows you to immerse yourself in the past of the cities of Etruria. While guiding you through the paths, it will explain what you see and make you virtually enter the buildings and the tombs. Beside admiring their original splendor, you will be immerged into the narrative of some characters from the past. Your time travel will then be transformed into an unforgettable memory.
The ITALIANAVIGATOUR - Città d'Etruria project was conceived and realized by the Archeomatica team thanks to the contribution of the POR FESR 2014-2020 funds 3.3.1 b, Public Notice "Impresa fa Cultura", with the support of the Soprintendenza Archeologia Belle Arti e Paesaggio per la provincia di Viterbo e l’Etruria Meridionale which approved and shared its achievement, the Municipalities of Barbarano Romano and Castiglione in Teverina and the family that owns the Poggio di Sermugnano area.
